• 2023 BKB Year End Appeal

Please consider a year-end donation to maintaining BKB, our community’s Jewish home. Far more important than any achievement or event is the fact that we have a Jewish community where we can belong, celebrate, grow, and share the events in our lives, whether they are sad or joyous.

As we give gifts to loved ones for Chanuakah-and as you are thinking about end of year contributions for tax purposes-please make a monetary gift to BKB. Your gift of $180, $250, $360 or whatever amount you can afford will be greatly appreciated. To assure that you receive a  tax deduction in 2023,please submit your gift by December 31, 2023.

Todah rabah (thank you) in advance for your support. May your Chanukah lights bring warmth and strength to you and your loved ones in the coming days. We wish you a happy and healthy 2024.
  • 2023 Annual BKB Thanksgiv...

Please contribute to the BKB annual drive to help the needy purchase turkeys for Thanksgiving. This year the drive will be to raise funds for the purchase of gift cards that will be distributed by the Antelope Valley Senior Center (AVSC) to enable the purchase of turkeys by the neediest of families in the Center and community.

Built in 1978, the Antelope Valley Senior Center is strategically located near several senior housing complexes and serves communities from Lancaster, Palmdale, Littlerock, Quartz Hill, Lake Los Angeles, and other surrounding unincorporated areas. • Membership Pledges/Fees

BKB members may pay membership pledges (aka dues), fees, and other BKB obligations on this page! Here’s how:

#BKB members will continue to receive monthly financial statements via US Mail; payment can be made via US Mail as before or pay online on this page. As usual, your statement will tell you what your monthly obligation is.
    ·
#The only payment method on this page is by direct withdrawal from a member’s checking account (payment by credit card is not permitted because of the high credit card fees).
    ·
#You can make either a single monthly payment or set up automatic monthly withdrawals.

To set up automatic monthly withdrawals, select “Yes” in the box above the “Account Details” section. Then, you will be offered the option of selecting the number of automatic withdrawals that you want. The total payment amount will then have to be the total payment for the number of automatic withdrawals that you select. For example, if you wish to do 12 automatic payments of $157.50 (BKB’s annual standard membership pledge), then you would put $1890.00 in the payment amount and select 12 monthly payments. The first payment will be made when you select Pay Now, and the remaining payments will automatically be processed on the same cycle date each period.

BKB is a non-profit religious institution belonging to its members. We have chosen to come together for a common cause: to maintain a house of worship, a house of learning and a house of assembly. Therefore, we must assume the responsibility of meeting the fiscal needs of the entire BKB community.

The primary source of funding for the congregation’s programs comes from the financial support provided by its members. As a member of the BKB community, your financial support helps ensure that your local Jewish community has a place to worship, learn and develop long-term relationships.  The ability of BKB to provide quality programs and services to your Jewish community is dependent upon your contribution. Todah rabah (thank you) for your support!
